Posted by Team FotoIN on May 04, 2015

Companies with mobile workforces can now experience an even faster turn around when documenting field work with the latest release of FotoIN's automated photo documentation solution.

In this release, we wanted to make things smoother by reducing the number of “clicks”. The following updates and new features help you get your job done even faster...

Simplified Experience on the Mobile App

  • Quicker snap and data capture:
    • Camera access is now conveniently located to create a more responsive and efficient user experience.
    • View your location in camera mode above the capture frame for immediate confirmation that your device’s GPS is capturing the correct location.
  • Import multiple photos from your device’s camera roll.
  • Receive Project notifications to remind you to snap photos whenever you enter a geo-fenced location that's been pre-defined.
  • Report Settings to choose to display or hide unanswered questions when exporting reports to PDF.
  • Swipe between photos within the selection. Swipe left or right in the photo edit mode to see the previous or next photo - this will save you time when annotating and commenting on your photos.

More Access with Better Control on the Web Portal

  • Custom Forms: More options when creating new forms under the Configurator
  • Admin Controls:
    • Mobile users, where you can govern each device’s settings, now includes add "New Device"
    • Web Users, a new tab to easily invite additional web users to have access to the Web Management Portal as an Admin or Viewer.
  • Export to Word, now you can even download your reports to a Word document for easier editing and access to information.
