Last week, FotoIN made its first appearance at the Annual Willis Construction Risk Management Conference in Nashville, TN. The value we gained from this experience is unlike any other. The individuals we met and those who put this event together made for a great time in the Music City.
Throughout the conference, individuals from renowned companies stepped up and gave presentations on important aspects of Risk Management in Construction. The topics varied from session to session, but the knowledge gained was more than plentiful.
We listened in on Todd Armistead from DPR Hardin talking about the importance of transparency and communication in jobsite safety at his session Claims and Safety – Integration, Process, and Communication = Best Outcomes. We also attended a power session called General Liability Coverage for Faulty Workmanship. In this session, they covered three different subtopics of Faulty Workmanship so the information gained was exponential.
During the exhibitor Meet and Greet sessions throughout the day, we met plenty of outstanding individuals and were able to listen and learn from them as well as share FotoIN. And when we weren’t in sessions or manning the exhibitor booth, we were getting to know the rest of the conference attendees out and about in Downtown Nashville.
As the conference came to a close, we left with a strong network of individuals who we are very excited about adding to the FotoIN community. The information absorbed, as well as shared, is something we are very thankful for and we look forward to next year in the Lone Star State!
