The giraffes are so weird. I mean, evolutionary speaking. You know, they can't put their heads down when they sleep nor can they lie on the ground, because they would have a stroke or a heart attack. The thing is, they need a big, strong heart to push all that blood up to their head, so when they lower their head, the pressure becomes too big and the arteries burst. Although lions sometimes do attack them, they do it seldom, so the giraffes still live quite a danger free life. |
